How To Keep Ants Out Of Your House
As the weather gets warmer many pests come out of hiding and make their way into your house. The best way to combat these pests is to be prepared. Here are a few ways to keep ants out of your house this spring and summer.
Seal cracks around doors and windows with caulk.
Clean surfaces of your home with a mixture composed of half vinegar, half distilled water. Ants hate the smell of vinegar, plus it is a more natural cleaning solution.
Sprinkle coffee grounds in the garden or flower beds around your home. Ants also dislike the smell of coffee and will move away from it.
If you do find an area where ants have already started to come in, put a thin line of dish soap around the entry area. You can even pour dish soap directly on ant hills or mix the soap with some water in a spray bottle.
